Brighton & Hove Albion faces Everton for a Premier League clash at the Amex Stadium on Saturday.

The two struggling sides found positive playing outcomes last Sunday while continuing to battle problems with insufficient match victories this season.

Brighton's season recovered its momentum against Amex Stadium home matches after meaningful time away allowed them to overcome signs of drifting toward ordinary results.

Following their eight-game Premier League drawless stretch Brighton achieved consecutive wins through away matches.

Nova recharged their season by first beating Ipswich Town 2-0 at Portman Road followed by a 3-1 triumph over out-of-form Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Brighton brought home their third consecutive victory at Old Trafford after Hurzeler became the latest in a line of managers to secure wins for the Seagulls at the Theatre of Dreams.

Brighton's crushing 4-0 win at Norwich City's Cup match proved significant because it provided both Rutter and Minteh an opportunity to recover their form which led directly into their scoring goals during the United matchup.

In their current ninth place position Brighton stay strong in their pursuit of European qualification with a three-point deficit below seventh and six points from fourth place.

They will go into this match, though, knowing that they had previously won a significant game against their season's next opponents, Everton, leaving Goodison Park with a 3-0 triumph on the first day.

The Toffees have a strong recent record at the Amex, and David Moyes's job will be to make sure Brighton hasn't won the league double over Everton in 11 prior seasons.

Everton has now won two of their past three Premier League visits here after losing their first four. They should have won three points here last season as well, but they mysteriously lost two points in injury time against a 10-man Brighton.

Hurzeler has suffered more injuries this week, though, and Brighton will only have two healthy central defenders in his place because Lewis Dunk and Matt O'Riley will remain sidelined.

Long-term absences Ferdi Kadioglu and James Milner won't return until next month, and Igor won't be seen again this season.

With two goals in his last three trips to Goodison, Kaoru Mitoma has a strong record against Everton. If he scores again here at the Amex, he will become the first Japanese player to score in three consecutive Premier League games.
