On Sunday, August 6, Club Brugge travels to the Het Kuipje to take on Westerlo in the Belgian Pro League, hoping to record their first victory of the new campaign.

De Kemphanen started their comeback in the 69th minute when Nicolas Madsen converted a penalty, and in stoppage time, Lucas Stassin compelled a share of the spoils.
Brugge has won 31 of the 40 matches between the two teams while losing twice.Brugge is winless in their previous two games against Westerlo after a 13-game winning streak.In the previous two encounters between Brugge and Westerlo, no goals were scored.The lone time Westerlo defeated Brugge at home was in the 1999–2000 campaign. In 17 games played against them since then, the Bruges are unbeaten.
Brugge are the superior squad on paper, despite the fact that neither team started the top-flight season on a winning note. They have a fantastic record in this matchup and should continue to defeat Westerlo.
