Paris Saint-Germain, fresh off securing the Ligue 1 title, will face Le Havre at the Parc des Princes on Saturday.

Last week, PSG successfully requested to delay their match against Nantes, allowing Luis Enrique’s squad to concentrate on their Champions League clash at Villa Park.

With the league title already secured, PSG still have plenty to chase this season as they aim to make history across multiple fronts.

Many are focused on their potential to achieve an unprecedented treble, with a Coupe de France final against Reims and a Champions League semi-final spot on the horizon. However, there’s also a remarkable milestone within reach in Ligue 1.

Enrique’s team remains unbeaten after 28 matches and is just six games away from becoming the first French top-flight side to complete an entire season without a loss.

Nantes set the record for the longest unbeaten start to a season with 32 games, but given PSG’s dominance this year, this ambitious squad is eager to etch their name in history.

Interestingly, Nantes are one of only two teams to have earned points at the Parc des Princes in Ligue 1 this season, with PSG collecting 38 points from a possible 42 at home.

The postponed Nantes game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, giving PSG three league matches before their next Champions League outing against Arsenal in the semi-finals.

PSG likely benefited from the extra preparation time for their midweek win over Aston Villa, though Enrique was surely frustrated by how close the tie became. Despite leading 5-1 on aggregate, they narrowly advanced 5-4 after a late Villa comeback.

PSG lost 3-2 in that second leg, but their only two defeats since November have come in Champions League matches where they still progressed.

This leaves Le Havre with slim hopes of an upset as heavy underdogs, while PSG aim for a 10th consecutive Ligue 1 victory, a feat they haven’t accomplished since the 2018-19 campaign.

PSG has only ever suffered a home loss against Le Havre once, in 1998, and in 15 of their 31 Ligue 1 encounters, the Parisians have maintained a clean sheet.

Although Le Havre drew 3-3 here last season and were extremely unfortunate not to capture all three points after leading 3-1 heading into the last 12 minutes, Enrique's team came late to win 4-1 in the rematch back in August.

However, the visiting team will be feeling depressed because they come into this match fresh off a humiliating 5-1 loss to Rennes at home the previous weekend.
