Barcelona restored their three-point lead over defending champions Real Madrid at the top of the LaLiga standings after a commanding 5-1 victory over Sevilla at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys -- their ninth win from 10 matches this season. LaLiga top-scorer Lewandowski opened the scoring from the spot after a foul on Raphinha in the 24th minute before Pedri made it 2-0 with a stunning strike four minutes later. Barca's Polish striker added a third before the break to put the hosts in the box seat. Torre came off the bench late on and netted two goals in six minutes for a late flourish which sandwiched Sevilla's consolation goal through Idumbo from their only shot on target as the visitors ended the game with an xG of 0.72. Flick's side, meanwhile, generated an xG of 4.17 and attempted a staggering 21 shots of which nine were on target. The LaLiga leaders will next be in action in the Champions League where they face Bayern Munich on Wednesday while Sevilla will hope to bounce back in their league outing against Espanyol on Friday.
