They also made 23 free throws while shooting the ball 10 times than their opponents since they committed only ten turnovers . There is nothing more motivating than a coach that demands effort, and JJ Reddick’s men gave him all they had in the first meeting against the Spurs. If they can have a similar game, the Lakers will cover the spread.

In that first game Anthony Davis had 40 point output against San Antonio Spurs. Points: Davis- 30.1, Rebounds: Davis- 11.1. LeBron James is once again enjoying another magnificent year as he is averaging 23.6 points and assists 9.1 assists per game. Davis and James are in a good run in basketball and the Lakers need them in that form on Wednesday night.

Despite pushing the Lakers to the limit during their game, the Spurs were unable to overcome LeBron James' triple-double and Anthony Davis' 40-point performance. Victor Wembanyama, who just had a 34-point performance against the Jazz on Tuesday, has performed well versus LA.

Because of Wembanyama's rim protection and the intensity on the perimeter, the Spurs have played excellent defense during the past four games. In order to extend their winning run to five games, San Antonio will need its defense to perform well against the Lakers. They only give up 109.2 points per game and rank eighth in defensive rating (111.2).

Since joining the starting lineup, Stephon Castle has been outstanding. As a starter, Castle is averaging 14.3 points and 4.5 assists while shooting 42.7% from the field and 33.3% from deep. With his tough defense and clutch shooting, he has been instrumental in helping the Spurs secure victories during their winning run. In his most recent game against the Lakers, he scored 22 points and dished out five assists, including some spectacular plays in the fourth quarter. On Wednesday night, the Spurs will require more of the same from him.
