Amad signs a new contract with Manchester United that will last until 2030.

With the signing of a new deal, Amad Diallo will remain with Manchester United until 2030.

Since Ruben Amorim took over as manager in November, Diallo has been one of United's most important players. He has scored three goals in his past six games, including the equaliser in Sunday's 2-2 draw with Liverpool.

Since joining Old Trafford from Atalanta in 2021, the 22-year-old Ivory Coast winger has made 50 appearances and scored nine goals. He has also had loan stints at Rangers and Sunderland during his career with the team.

"I'm rather pleased with the new contract I signed. Diallo told the club website, "I have already experienced some amazing moments with this club, but there is so much more to come."

"I want to make history at Manchester United, and I have high goals for the game.

"Since coming here four years ago, I've learnt a lot. I am really appreciative of the coaches and personnel that have guided my growth and the supporters who keep me going every day.

"Everyone has had a challenging season, but I am convinced that we are headed in the right direction and that the future will be truly remarkable.

"I am ready to give everything to help the team and make our supporters proud again."

Jason Wilcox, United's technical director, thinks Diallo will be a huge value to the team.

"Everyone is delighted with Amad's development - his quality on the ball, versatility and determination makes him a key part of the future of Manchester United," Wilcox stated.

"The best years of his career are ahead of him and we all look forward to helping Amad to reach his immense potential and achieve success at the club in the coming seasons."

With six victories in 20 games, United is now ranked 13th in the Premier League standings. On Sunday, they will travel to Arsenal for their FA Cup third-round matchup.
