Marcus Rashford's transfer terms were outlined by Manchester United after offers of £35 million per year were turned down.
Although Marcus Rashford has no intention of leaving Manchester United for the Saudi Pro League, his team is believed to be amenable to offers under certain circumstances.
Marcus Rashford is reportedly reluctant to join the Saudi Pro League, but Manchester United is still considering offers for the attacker.
Although Rashford, an England attacker, has fallen in the hierarchy at Old Trafford, head coach Ruben Amorim has not ruled out the 27-year-old's full reintegration after restoring him to the matchday squad against Newcastle. Despite saying he was ready for a new challenge, the player, whose contract is set to expire in 2028, may yet have a future at Old Trafford.
The initial proposals seem to have come from Saudi Arabia, where Rashford is reportedly receiving contract offers that could double his salary, which is now over £300,000 per week, to earn over £35 million annually. He is reportedly not planning to relocate to the Gulf State, though.
For their part, United is thought to be fully aware of the importance of the Premier League's Sustainability and Profit Rules. This might influence how they react to any interest in their academy graduate in January—that is, if more offers are received.
The Mail claims that United is still considering a permanent Rashford departure while maintaining PSR compliance. If prospective suitors are willing to pay a loan fee and cover the majority of the forward's not small salaries, they might also approve a loan exit for him.
Jadon Sancho is a perfect example of a high earner who United has previously approved loans for. The winger spent the previous season at Borussia Dortmund before going on loan to Chelsea for the current campaign. A permanent move to the London club is expected in the summer.
If the Bllues place 14th or higher in the league, Sancho will be free to sign with Chelsea for a knockdown price of between £20 and £25 million. Despite losing to Ipswich last time out, Enzo Maresca's team is still in fourth place and is on track to finish many spots higher than that.
After benching Rashford against Newcastle after completely ignoring him in several prior games, United manager Ruben Amorim was questioned about the player. Even if he didn't look at the star that time, he stated, "Every player on the bench is close to going on the pitch,"
Joshua Zirkzee was substituted before halftime, and Amorim's team gave up two goals against Eddie Howe's team in the first twenty minutes. Zirkzee, a summer acquisition, has also been connected to a January departure, but Amorim justified his choice to substitute the former Bologna player in the first half.
"That is really simple when the game starts and finishes for people to address," Amorim stated. "The concept was distinct. Josh [Zirkzee] was going through a really difficult time, and I felt compelled to take action at that precise moment.
"I dislike subjecting my teammates to it. The squad was hurting at the time, so I made the choice with the team in mind. I truly feel bad for Josh.
