Amad's amazing 12-minute hat-trick saves Manchester United in a comeback victory.

Ivorian has also scored a winner at Man City and an equaliser at Liverpool. Amad Diallo scored a 12-minute hat-trick to secure a late comeback for Manchester United against Premier League bottom club Southampton; prior to Amad's treble, Ruben Amorim's team was headed for their fourth consecutive Old Trafford loss.

Amad's amazing 12-minute hat-trick saves Manchester United in a comeback victory.

Man City's victor. Liverpool's equaliser. A week after agreeing to a new, long-term contract with Manchester United, he suddenly has a match-winning hat-trick.

The bright spot of Ruben Amorim's rule thus far is Amad Diallo.

He told TNT Sports, "It's maybe one of the best weeks of my life," following his 12-minute hat-trick that changed the course of United's history. Seven days after he had agreed to a contract that would keep him at United until 2030, it was his first senior hat-trick.

They were headed for a loss against the Premier League's worst team after a miserable seventy-five minutes. Rather, the Old Trafford United fans went home chanting Amad's name. The Ivorian went on, "I'm very happy for this win,"

Wayne Rooney is the only Manchester United player to have scored a Premier League hat-trick at a younger age. However, even at the young age of 22, Amad is demonstrating to his more seasoned teammates how to adjust and succeed in a new system.

Amad is influencing the game in Amorim's 3-4-2-1, whether he is playing as one of the two forwards assisting the striker or switched to wing-back, like he was for his late treble.

It's noteworthy that out of Amad's six league goals this season, three have been equalisers and two have been winners. Amad has risen to the occasion in crucial situations. Not bad for a player who only received three starts in the top tier the previous season due to Erik ten Hag.

Paradoxically, the individual who has rekindled Amad's passion is the one downplaying his accomplishments.

"He's having a great season. "And that's it," Amorim stated at his press conference following the game.

"With the small children, we must use caution. Today's performance was excellent. He needs to get much better. However, this game is over. We must get ready for what lies ahead. This is how life is in football.

"He performed admirably. A small child scoring a hat-trick for a team like this is a fantastic moment. However, since it is already over, he must concentrate on the upcoming game and get ready for it.It's obvious that Amorim wants to control the excitement surrounding Amad. That's probably because the larger assignment he's working on is so challenging. However, it is difficult for United fans to not be thrilled about this budding star's potential while they endure yet another difficult season.

Analysis: Once again, Amad takes charge

Southampton defeated United tactically. Kamaldeen Sulemana exposed Leny Yoro, the pressure was ill-coordinated throughout against a club known for its defensive errors, and the team's play had an unsettling tentativeness.

The coach himself admits that the demands are a total reverse of what they were taught, and some of these players are still uneasy with what Amorim is asking of them. Some might just not be qualified for the job.

However, you discover even more about players and people in those situations. Amad took the lead once more. As he did after he scored the game-winning goal against Manchester City. as he did when he recently equalised against Liverpool. It took a hat-trick to turn things around in this case.

"He created it rather than waiting for it to happen. On the second try, the opening goal was pushed home. The second arrived by moving deftly inside the box in the hopes of being discovered. Gambling on a defender mishandling the ball resulted in the third."He switched to Amorim's system as the designated wing-back to fill in for Diogo Dalot, who was suspended. How his coach would be thrilled if every member of his team could rise to the tactical and mental challenges he has faced this season."

Amorim: We have a lot of work ahead of us.

Although United was spared embarrassment by Amad's bravery, Amorim is certain of the magnitude of the work at hand.

He said, "The feeling is we have so much to do," to TNT Sports following the match. "I thought the team was extremely worn out after playing Liverpool and Arsenal for 120 minutes; it's not just the players' physical or mental exhaustion. It was successful, therefore let's move forward.

He also mentioned how his players were under pressure to perform in front of their own supporters. At Old Trafford, United had dropped their previous three games; the team hasn't lost four straight at home since 1934. As Southampton broke through in the first half, the team's inability to press as a cohesive one was another problem.

"Playing in this stadium, we lost the last three games here, the pressure is different," he stated. "You can sense the struggle as we strive to put pressure on the opponent during the build-up. They then connect the dots and cause us a great deal of trouble.

"We are now having trouble pressing high. It appears to be a lack of enthusiasm because this team is not accustomed to doing that. The ball is inside, Bruno [Fernandes] is heading outside, Kobbie Mainoo is running late, and [Manuel] Ugarte is running late. [Leny] Yoro is unable to capture [Sulemana] after one transfer.

"Without the ball, we start to worry about little things. However, you feel that the team can better control the game when there is only one goal and one opportunity.

"I want to treat my guys fairly. There was plenty of enthusiasm today. There was a lack of speed and occasionally a lack of game control.
