Elanga's lone goal haunts Manchester United and solidifies Forest's hold on third place.
Anthony Elanga scored the first goal in the first half of Nottingham Forest's 1-0 victory over Manchester United at the City Ground. Forest is now eight points ahead of Chelsea in fourth place, while United is in thirteenth.

After sprinting up the pitch to score the lone goal in the first half of Nottingham Forest's 1-0 victory at the City Ground, Anthony Elanga tormented his former team, Manchester United.
In the fifth minute, the former United winger rushed forward from his own penalty area, travelling 85 meters in nine seconds, to score the first goal.
Without Chris Wood, who missed his second game due to a hip injury, Forest had only won one of their previous five games under Nuno Espirito Santo. However, their Sweden international allayed any initial concerns about losing the forward.
The victory was the Tricky Trees' first league double over United since 1992, when the team was still led by the renowned Brian Clough.
Despite having 68 percent of the ball, Ruben Amorim's team didn't contribute much in the last third until Murillo was called upon to clear Harry Maguire's prodded attempt off the line with what was essentially the game's final kick.
After winning consecutive games prior to the international break, the momentum they were gaining was shattered by yet another incredible display by third-place Forest, who currently lead Chelsea by eight points in fourth place.
However, defender Ola Aina's injury, which caused him to hobble off the pitch in the first half due to a calf issue, somewhat ruined their evening.
United is still in 13th place, therefore all eyes will be on Sunday's Manchester derby. One of the few things they can take away from their lacklustre top-flight campaign is the opportunity to brag.
On his electric goal, Elanga!
"It's about attacking the space and getting to the edge of the box as quick as I can, that's where you can hurt the opposition," Nottingham Forest matchwinner Anthony Elanga told TNT Sports.
"I backed that I could display it on the pitch after noticing the space. It's not that bad!
One thing I worked on was the finish. You can sprint quickly, but you must maintain your composure.
"I'm not the finished product; I came here to play. Man Utd taught me a lot. They are really appreciated. I want to keep playing football because I'm having fun.
Amorim: We should have won, not even drawn!
"We controlled the game, but we already knew this team can score out of nothing," Man Utd manager Ruben Amorim said in an interview with TNT Sports.
"The game changes in their favour when they score. We made an effort and had favourable circumstances.
"The final pass was missing in the last third. We are unable to score goals because we lack that. That's the case this season.
"We can't give in when the set pieces change. We lost three points in the end, even though we should have won this game—not even drawn.
Nuno: "Suffer, believe, and help each other."
Nuno Espirito Santo, the manager of Nottingham Forest, told TNT Sports: "Suffer, believe, and help each other." The game was really challenging. For us, each and every one of them is really significant. After the lengthy FA Cup match, we were on the ropes.
"Let's concentrate on the following one. It happens day by day.
In reference to Anthony Elanga: "He is a special boy with the speed and quality on the ball."
Regarding Ryan Yates' performance: "We are aware of Yates' abilities. For us, he is a unique player. He is the team's beating heart.
