After falling to Crystal Palace 4-0 on Monday Night Football, United's season reached a new low. They now sit in eighth place going into their Super Sunday match against Arsenal, which will air live on Sky Sports.

Although they are playing in this month's FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium against Manchester City, Ten Hag's team may have the lowest-ever Premier League finish this season.

Ten Hag remarked, "I think the fans have the patience—you've seen it on Monday," alluding to the outpouring of support from United's away supporters following their 4-0 loss against Palace.

However, some comments don't seem to. Additionally, it appears that they lack either football understanding or management experience with a football team. Either that, or they simply have the capacity.

"But I think there are many people who see the problems and are patient."

Ten Hag dismisses rumors that he might be fired by Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the INEOS group even if United wins the FA Cup, as occurred to fellow countryman Louis van Gaal in 2016. Instead, he is optimistic that "common sense" will win out as the club's decision-makers evaluate his future.

"If I see the problems we have faced, all the injuries, and in almost every game they fought," Ten Hag stated,. "The team spirit was excellent.

"Not on Monday, which is why I felt really let down. On Monday, I felt truly let down, and I could tell the players felt let down too. A collective failure occurred.

"But all the other games we fought with each other had good team spirit, so, no, I can't have any doubt about this."

Ten Hag is a great coach, and Arsenal boss Arteta feels he should have more time to get things right at Old Trafford.

"I'm limited to discussing my opinions about him as a coach. He makes a fantastic coach. Regarding Ten Hag's role, Arteta said, "I respect his teams, both Ajax and United."

"I have a great deal of respect for him because I understand what he's trying to accomplish, how he achieves it, and how challenging it is to prepare for him.

"Hopefully, he gets the time because we work together and understand how tough this league is and how narrow the margins are. I think he's a great coach, so hopefully that's the case."

"You have to come to these places, impose yourself, and overcome them if you want to win the Premier League and major prizes. We are traveling in that direction, and on Sunday we will undoubtedly attempt to continue in that direction."
