Leeds' thrilling victory over Plymouth secures the Championship title.

Daniel Farke's team were promoted to the Premier League as the Championship victors after Saturday's Championship match between Plymouth Argyle and Leeds United at Home Park. Burnley is tied for second place with 100 points.

Leeds' thrilling victory over Plymouth secures the Championship title.

Leeds overcame a deficit to defeat relegated Plymouth 2-1, and Manor Solomon's incredible stoppage-time goal sent them to the Premier League as winners.

United knew that only a victory would crown them winners on goal differential after Burnley defeated Millwall 3-1, and Solomon made it happen. Both Leeds and Burnley finished the season with an incredible 100 points.

Spurs ace on loan  Solomon went into the box from the left, beat marker Nikola Katic, and fired low into the far corner beyond extended keeper Conor Hazard after latching onto a through pass from teammate scorer Wilfried Gnonto.

Leeds launched an attack right away, winning a corner in the first minute that Hazard had to punch clear under duress.

In the ninth minute, Hazard was called upon once more, diving low to block Solomon's 25-yard free kick and Sam Byram's downward header.

After Jayden Bogle's cross into the box two minutes later, Brenden Aaronson miskicked after being well placed in front of goal.

Caleb Roberts, a young midfielder, blasted wide from 25 yards out in the 14th minute, Argyle's first significant attempt on goal.

Mustapha Bundu, an in-form striker for Argyle, came much closer with his goal effort in the 16th minute, swerving past four defenders before slamming his shot high and wide while on the move.

With his subsequent attempt, Bundu came even closer and scored the first goal.

After cutting in from the left once more, the Sierra Leonean attacker curled a shot past Karl Darlow in the Leeds goal and off the far post.

As he rushed in to clear, Leeds defender Byram was powerless to stop the ball from bouncing off him and in.

Joel Piroe was able to first-time a wonderful cross from the right after Bogle, who had shot just wide in the 20th minute, pushed it over.

Despite exerting tremendous pressure, Leeds was unable to find a leveller.

In the 30th minute, Solomon cut in from the left and fired just over, the ball barely clearing the top corner, and Hazard made a fantastic diving stop to keep away Aaronson's strike from the right side of the box.

As Leeds' frustrations increased, Aaronson's shot in the 33rd minute went over.

Solomon also first-timed Illia Gruev's cut-back free-kick from the right, sweeping a shot high and over from 20 yards out.

Early in the second half, Leeds pressure paid off when Gnonto tied the score in the 53rd minute.

Gnonto was at the far post to slam the ball in from close range after Solomon, who is frequently a pain in Plymouth's side, blasted in a low cross from the left.

In the 65th minute, Byram nearly gave Leeds the lead with a close-range shot and another Solomon cross, but his header missed the far post by a hair.

Hazard, the keeper for Northern Ireland, caught the ball high up after racing out to save Bogle's risky cross from the right in the 74th minute.

However, Solomon would have the final say, giving Leeds the championship they so desperately wanted.
