Man Utd and Lille negotiate Yoro deal in principle.
According to Livesports808 News, Manchester United and Lille have reached an agreement in principle for the €50 million acquisition of defender Leny Yoro.
The player wants to go to Real Madrid, according to one source. Lille is worth more than Real has offered up to this point.
Yoro, 18, has one year remaining on his contract, which puts Lille in a tough spot.
He may still stay in Lille and move for nothing come summertime if his sole desire is to move to Real and Lille is unable to come to an agreement.
Yoro is in his last year of employment and will be available to meet with clubs outside of France in January.
According to reports this week, Real Madrid is hoping to close a deal on Yoro this week after attempting to quicken the negotiation process. They are currently negotiating directly with Lille to come to a monetary arrangement, which according to The Athletic would be followed by a six-year contract. According to a number of rumours, Yoro has already agreed to the terms, and they are still the favourites to sign him.
