The Golden Glove award for the Premier League went to David Raya.

The winner of the 2023–24 Premier League Golden Glove is David Raya, the goalkeeper for Arsenal.

The Golden Glove award for the Premier League went to David Raya.

Jordan Pickford cannot match the Spaniard's record of 14 clean sheets this season, thanks to Everton's 1-1 draw with Luton, which gives David Raya the Premier League's Golden Glove trophy.

Raya, who came to the Gunners on loan from Brentford in the summer, has been brilliant in goal, utilizing his feet to great effect and coolly leading his defense to the greatest record in the top division of England.

Considering that he has only participated in 29 league games, his clean-sheet record is even more remarkable. In addition to starting the season on the bench for the first three games against his parent club, Raya was forced to make room for Aaron Ramsdale in both of those contests.

Although European statistics are not taken into consideration for the Golden Glove award, he also preserved four clean sheets in nine Champions League games and made two saves in the team's victory over Porto in the round of 16 penalty shootouts.

It's not all been easy going; three specific mistakes, one a terrible one in the victory over the North London Derby last Saturday, highlight the fact that there is still room for growth.

It is well known that Arsenal will make Raya a permanent fixture for a pre-arranged cost of £27 million when the transfer window opens. Nevertheless, Arteta continued to play straight bat when questioned about the deal during his pre-Bournemouth press conference.

He stated, "Those discussions are for after the season."  We'll assess our current situation, but it goes without saying that we're thrilled with David and everything he has contributed to the team and the club.

"There is no doubt about it, but we will see, and all those decisions have to be made between all of us at the club."

Congratulations to David, who will be looking to increase his total in the season's last three games. With his enormous hands, hopefully the Premier League can locate a golden glove.
