Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund both scored goals as Manchester United defeated Leicester City.
Manchester United defeated Leicester City 3-0 thanks to goals from Bruno Fernandes, Rasmus Hojlund, and Alejandro Garnacho. The victory moved United up to 13th place and the Foxes closer to Premier League relegation.

As Manchester United defeated Leicester City 3-0 at the King Power Stadium, Rasmus Hojlund and Alejandro Garnacho snapped their goal droughts.
Before Garnacho extended the lead for Ruben Amorim's developing team halfway through the second half with his first goal in 25 games, Hojlund put his team ahead in the first half with his first goal in 22 games. A late third was added by Bruno Fernandes.
It was a severe setback for Ruud van Nistelrooy, who had managed United for the rematch in November. His Leicester squad is now the first in English Premier League history to lose seven straight home games without scoring.
With nine points from safety, they don't seem to have much hope of staying in the top tier. However, following an outstanding week, United may once again consider themselves upwardly mobile. With this win, they move up to 13th place, two spots ahead of Tottenham and Everton.
Christian Eriksen hit the post with a spectacular effort on the angle even before Hojlund had his big moment, and United maintained that momentum throughout the match as they defeated Real Sociedad on Thursday in one of their best performances of the season.
After suffering a terrible drought since last year, the Danish striker displayed poise when Fernandes passed him through, burying the ball low into the far corner with his weaker right foot. His joy was evident.
Even a one-goal deficit can be intimidating for Leicester, who haven't scored a Premier League goal in front of their home fans in more than three months. However, Patson Daka had a chance to tie the score, but Ayden Heaven made a brilliant double block to keep him at bay.
Unfortunately, the teenager's involvement was cut short as he was forced off with what appeared to be a serious injury. This was his first Premier League start. In a rearrangement, Toby Collyer was moved to wing-back. Harry Amass made his debut as well.
Although Amorim's team appears thin, the performances are showing some consistency for the first time. The sole loss in the previous seven games occurred against Fulham following a penalty shootout. A little hope. How Leicester wishes they could say that.
Bruno Fernandes was the match's player.
Even if Hojlund and Garnacho had a big night, Fernandes once again had the last word. The captain is now the sixth United player to record 50 assists for the team in the Premier League if he is given credit for the second goal's assist.
The other five are David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Eric Cantona, Wayne Rooney, and Ryan Giggs. Although they accomplished it in a more powerful manner than this one, they should also be commended for maintaining the flame. In any case, Fernandes has upheld his standards.
Roy Keane, the former captain of United, is a vociferous critic of the Portuguese, so not everyone shares that opinion. Fernandes responded eloquently when asked by Sky Sports how he handles such criticism of him.
"Hearing negative comments about you is unpleasant. Everyone dislikes it, I believe, but it also inspires you and gives you the impression that there are many areas in which you clearly need to improve.
"You must view it positively, realising that regardless of what others are saying, there is always room for progress.
"I am aware that you are referring to Roy Keane, of course.
As already stated, Roy Keane is someone I greatly like. He was an outstanding player for the team and, in my opinion, one of the best captains. Almost everything for this club was won by him. It's his thought process. It's his perception of me as a captain and a player. I must honour that.
"I try to be the best person and teammate I can be, not simply the captain, by doing things my own way. Every day, I do it. I make an effort to set an example in all I do, even during practice and on the pitch.
"Not everyone will agree with it or have the same opinion. I appreciate everyone's viewpoint. Roy Keane is someone I greatly admire. Naturally, I acknowledge that I have a lot of room to grow in all aspects of my life, including my leadership and game.
Amorim: I was shocked by Fernandes.
"What surprised me the most is the way he works every day," Amorim responded to a question regarding Fernandes during the news conference. "It was unexpected. I was shocked to see Bruno acting so frustrated, even in Portugal. He's an excellent professional.
And that frustration is understandable. He desires victory. This is a positive thing. I was therefore surprised by that.
Amorim responded, "I don't feel that in Bruno," when asked if he believes the skipper will require a break. That's what makes him unique. He's always prepared. He has a good recovery rate.
"The future is unknown to me. However, I'm just reading the figures that the performance department sends me. And what I observe in the game after that. Thus, I constantly see a Bruno who is both dangerous and resilient in any circumstance.
