Bruno Fernandes advises the club to meet his "expectations," dropping the greatest hint that he would quit Manchester United.
A major suggestion has been made by Bruno Fernandes that he may be leaving Manchester United due to internal strife.
After spending four and a half seasons at Old Trafford, Fernandes is thinking about making a summer transfer, as SunSport exclusively disclosed earlier this month.
The midfield player had previously said that following this summer's European Championship, he would consider his options.
And now he says that in order for him to stay, Manchester United needs to raise the bar considerably.
Fernandes stated in an article for The Players' Tribune: "I just want my expectations to match the club's expectations.
"Any fan you speak with will tell you the same thing. Our objective is to contend for the league.
"We want to be playing football in the Champions League. We hope to play in the Cup finals. That's the norm.
That is my desire. All of you deserve that."
'' I just want my expectations to fit with the expectations of the club."
The Premier League season ended with Manchester United finishing eighth in the standings, which is a record low for the team.
Tomorrow is Sunday's FA Cup final between Erik ten Hag's team and local rivals Manchester City.
