Liverpool 'agrees personal terms' with a Premier League player (big hint)

Milos Kerkez is apparently on the verge of joining Liverpool, according to transfer rumors.

One of the Premier League's best players this season is apparently on personal terms with Liverpool.

As they plan how to retain their top-flight title, the Reds are not wasting any time in the trade market.  Even though Trent Alexander-Arnold is leaving Liverpool for nothing, Arne Slot's team is moving quickly to strengthen the roster.

Alexander-Arnold's replacement has already been announced as Jeremie Frimpong.  Due to his £30 million release clause, he is expected to join from Bayer Leverkusen.  In addition, Liverpool is in the lead for Wirtz, Frimpong's teammate from Leverkusen.  The Reds would have to pay a club-record price for the playmaker, who is valued at over £125 million by Die Werkself.

But Liverpool is also looking to bolster their left-back position.  Since Andy Robertson is now thirty-one, a replacement is needed.  Milos Kerkez has been arguably the Premier League's best performer in that position this season.  With a club-record 56 points, AFC Bournemouth finished ninth in the rankings, and the Hungary international has two goals and six assists.

According to reports, the Cherries hope to pay Kerkez a price of approximately £45 million.  Additionally, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that conditions have been hammered out even if an agreement between the two teams has not been agreed upon.  "My information is that Milos Kerkez already has a personal terms agreement with Liverpool," Romano stated on his YouTube channel. There are a few more minor details that need to be confirmed before Liverpool contacts Bournemouth.  This one is still being worked on by Liverpool.

"In addition to Wirtz and Frimpong, there are ongoing discussions for Kerkez, and this week, the discussions will continue to close the deal.  Liverpool is incredibly dynamic and busy, and their work is quite remarkable.  Verifying Bournemouth's ultimate amount is the next step, but the discussion is progressing and moving smoothly, so Liverpool will have a significant role in the summer.

A clue from Kerkez

Kerkez assisted Bournemouth in defeating Leicester 2-0.  For the Cherries, who advanced to the FA Cup quarterfinals, it meant that he started every league game.  The 21-year-old may be on the move after he acknowledged on social media that he "doesn't know what will happen" in the near future.

"38 games, 38 started, we finished the job and broke the record, thanks to the fans and everyone for support, thanks to the gaffer for trusting me to start all 38 games, and special thanks to the one above for keeping me safe and healthy. Of course, nothing would be possible without my family, but thank you, Cherry family!" Kerkez wrote on Instagram.
